PHOENIX is an architectural gem from a bygone era that has been carefully brought from the past into a new era by Wiegand Hoffmann Architekten. As discreet as the façade may appear at first glance, everything here has been considered and refined down to the smallest detail. The architectural style features typical elements of expressionism. The reduced formal language and deliberate use of opulence are combined to create a timelessly modern ambience. The characteristic design of the construction period was cleverly incorporated into the refurbishment and carefully continued. For example, the floor bands that frame the mullioned windows and structure the façade were lovingly reconstructed and the staircase was given a color scheme that echoes its history. The two new storeys of the penthouse apartments provide a modern look and yet form a unit with the historical flair of the old building.
Familiar neighborhood feeling
PHOENIX location directly on the square is extremely rare and correspondingly sought-after.
