In Demmin, on Jarmener Chaussee, a modern hypermarket center is currently being built to sustainably improve local supply in the region. The project is being implemented by VENTIS Commercial AG and comprises a sales area of around 5,000 square meters. A REWE supermarket is planned as the anchor tenant, supplemented by additional retail space for drugstores and specialist stores. Particular attention is being paid to sustainable construction: The REWE store will be constructed as a so-called green building - with a heat pump and environmentally friendly, recyclable materials. Completion is planned for the end of 2025 and will secure the local supply in the neighborhood in the long term and for the future.
