Construction site update Kurhaus Sellin June 2024

The project previously marketed under the name Kurhaus Sellin has been given a new name: THE SHORELINE Sellin. This marks the start of the final phase of a new building that will open a new, contemporary chapter in a historic location.
The ensemble is being developed and realized by VENTIS Immobilien AG, which will oversee the project through to completion. The future hotel operations are in the hands of VELA Hotels AG, which has been under the management of its new CEO Walter C. Neumann since October 2025. VELA Hotels AG is cooperating with Grand Metropolitan Hotels as an international partner, but remains the sole operator and responsible for the overall concept of the hotel. The new building is now scheduled to open in spring 2026.

VENTIS will continue to support the project until it is handed over to the operator and will ensure the successful implementation of the final construction phase.
